Alexander Shimanov

Alexander Shimanov is an art director from Nizhny Novgorod, known under graffiti name Stan. He has been in the trade since 1999, specializing in lettering, font design, brand identity, street/sportswear. He developed a unique «Nizhny Novgorod» font. The font can be downloaded for free and used for the design of tourist gifts and merchandise, local information materials or any other purpose. Urban Roots graffiti art magazine is one of Alexander’s biggest projects so far. Alexander has also participated as a designer for the Russian Olympic team, Spartak and Dynamo football clubs and Lonsdale clothing brand.
