Alexander Yarovikov (Blosyak)

Artist & Illustrator

Alexander’s works could be found on the pages of magazines, such as Afisha, Praktika, PROsport, and Esquire. He has a degree in design, but he studied illustration himself. He lived in Moscow for a while, working at Bang!, one of the best illustration agencies in Russia. Natural motifs can be found in many of the artist’s works. Alexander’s superpower is to bring Siberian forest motifs into urban reality: a magical forest can appear on the ruins or the wall of an apartment building. The artist has a signature style of his graffiti work that is easy to spot: smooth lines and color transitions. One of his major works, Siniy Lesok — the walls turned into a cartoon forest — can be found in Krasnoyarsk on Totmin St. and on the embankment of the Yenisei. Alexander participated in the Kras Street Art Festival, the result of which was a large-scale painting, Sibirskiy Les, on the facade of the house.
