Anna Polyakova

Designer and Creative Director of ANNPOLYAKOVA

Anna Polyakova is a designer and creative director of ANNPOLYAKOVA, a member of the Russian Union of Designers, participant of Fashion Week in Moscow, photographer. The designer reconsidered Siberian historical codes and fused them with Avant-garde. The name of the first collection, Supreme, comes from Suprematism, the style that Malevich invented. For this, the designer transferred the painting Girls in the Fields into 3D, creating costumes based on the work of the great artist. Anna believes that a person «lives» in the clothes he wears. Her collections are sustained in the concept of functionalism, where comfort and quality are of paramount importance. This also means the fabrics should have a soft feel to them. Anna is the curator of the Siberian Brands contest, where she is responsible for helping the participants to present their collections at a catwalk. In 2022, Anna’s show closed the last day of Moscow Fashion Week. The collection included voluminous maxi dresses, tops, semitransparent straight dresses, high-waste pants, overcoats as if borrowed from men, straight jackets of noble fabrics. All the garments featured 4 colors — the prevailing black with vivid accents of gold, khaki, and electric blue.
