Artem Korovin and Fedor Smirnov
Co-founders of BREVNO eyewear
BREVNO is a brand of eyeglass frames and sunglasses made of wood and recycled plastic. From freezing Siberia to sunny Rome — orders for BREVNO glasses come from around the world. The first frames were made using improvised tools found in the kitchen in a friend’s garage workshop. The frames are mainly made of Siberian birch. Rosewood, American walnut and its root, wenge and other materials are also used. The craftsmen sand and polish the products by hand. It takes up to 30 hours to make one product. In 2020, the brand started using eco-friendly materials, such as recycled plastic, in production — blending traditional craftsmanship with modern technology. Each pair of glasses is unique and contributes to the personality of the owner. The brand participated in exhibitions in France and Milan. The frames can be purchased in St. Petersburg, Moscow, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Tomsk, Kaliningrad, Geneva, London, Prague, Brno, Paris, Rome, Edinburgh and other cities around the world.
