Ivan is the owner of the Deutsches Haus restaurant, the Tilsit-Ragnit cheese dairy, and the Old Beekeeper’s Hut Guest House
He is the man who revived the production of the world-famous Tilsiter cheese in its historic homeland. Patented the cheese brand Tilsiter from Tilsit-Ragnit.
At first, Ivan made his cheese dairy a genuine local landmark, and now he’s embarked on the whole Ragnit Castle. The plan is to get it up and running, organize a cluster on its basis, and make it a tourist attraction.
