Architect, Advisor to the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Director of the Institute for the Development of the Urban Environment of the Nizhny Novgorod Region

Strategic consultant in urban development and planning, curator and specialist in socio-cultural programming. Co-founder and Director of the non-profit organization Ogorod, which since 2009 has been engaged in initiatives to develop the urban environment through festivals, art interventions and other initiative projects and interdisciplinary collaborations with urban communities, such as the international architectural festival O’Gorod; the project of art conservation of historical buildings O’Gorod.Okno in collaboration with the artists of the Tikhaya Studio; the art-based field trip O’Gorod Na Volge; the educational series Pochva; the project Ogorozheno done in collaboration with the editorial office of the local newspaper Seledka. In early 2018, she was appointed advisor to the governor on expert support to the government of Nizhny Novgorod. Her responsibilities also included developing strategies and tools for the development of the region’s urban environment and culture. A key step in this process was the establishment of the Institute of Urban Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The institute was ranked among the top 15 architectural teams in the CIS, and has repeatedly been noted as one of the best regional competence centers. The Institute of Urban Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region served as an inspiration and an example for the establishment of similar centers in other regions of the Russian Federation.
