Winner of such international competitions, as the Premio Bonporti in Italy, the Bach Competition in Leipzig, the Musica Antiqua Competition in Bruges, Biber competition in Austria, Telemann Competition in Magdeburg. The founder of the ancient instruments ensemble La Voce Strumentale, with whom Dmitry performs at major international festivals and concert halls of Russia and around the world. He worked at the Zurich Opera, where he staged Francesco Cavalli’s opera Heliogabalus, and with the musicAeterna orchestra and choir. Over the years he has mastered and performed the entire major repertoire written for countertenor, including Handel’s operas and oratorios, Sebastian Bach’s cantatas, C.V. Gluck’s Orfeo ed Euridice. As a soloist and conductor, he regularly performs with ensembles and orchestras: Il Giardino Armonico, Accademia Bizantina, Concerto Köln (Germany), B`Rock (Belgium), Helsinki Baroque Orchestra (Finland), Arion Baroque Orchestra (Canada), Orquesta Barroca de Sevilla, Orquesta Nacional de España (Spain), Armonia Atenea (Greece), Seattle Symphony (USA) and Dubrovnik Symphony orchestra (Croatia).
