Igor Maltsev

Igor Maltsev is a photographer and director from Krasnoyarsk. His preferred genre is surrealism. «I am a rebel from the world of photography. I bring elements of art into my work, and many of my pieces are works of art in their own right. I’m a divergent thinker and I can’t stand pop culture», says Igor. He shoots in his own style, from an unusual perspective. For his photo shoots, he uses designer clothes and picks authentic locations. The photographer works in various genres: Fashion, Beauty, Portrait, Love Story, Documentary, Erotic. I did a photojournalistic project about the polluted Yenisei. The series consists of six photographs and is called «Enisei kotoryi zagadilo NE gosudarstvo» («Yenisei, polluted NOT by the government»). The photos show a diver emerging from the water with a string bag full of garbage in his hand. Since 2022, he has been a member of the Union of Photographers of Russia.
