Irina Gobozashvili

Irina Gobozashvili is a screenwriter and director of Nachat Snachala (Start Again), the first film about rugby in Russia. The film was shot by the regional film company Mechta Films and was successfully screened in cinemas across the country. Winner of numerous Russian awards for Khochu morozhenoe! (Want an Ice Cream!) and Navstrechu Mechte (Towards the Dream). She is now working in collaboration with Mechta Films on the new feature film V Potoke Trekh Stikhiy (In the Flow of the Three Elements) as a screenwriter. The film will be timed to coincide with the anniversary of The Russian Diving Federation.
