Irina Zaitseva

Director of such films as Krasnolutsky, Bratia (Brothers), Sharypovskoe Delo (Sharipov Case), Zhili-byli Starik So Starukhoi (Once Upon a Time There Live One Old Man and One Old Woman). She graduated from Cinematography Department of VGIK, and was the only girl in her class. She then moved to Siberia, because there she was allowed to take risks and shoot documentary films with no censorship. Since 1986 she worked as a director at Krasnoyarsk studio, since 2007 — director and executive producer of the Archipelago Film Studio, since 2012 — director and executive producer of ARS film studio. Member of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia. Member of the Board of the Association of Documentary Films of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia.
