«Take games seriously». Sergei is the creator of new Universes. He was always involved in the artistic field of game development, switched a couple of companies, moved to Kaliningrad from Voronezh in 2009.

In 2021, together with Alexey Sazonov and Alexey Kuzin, he founded a Finnish company Order of Meta, that also owns a game development studio in Kaliningrad, that specializes in shooters.

So far, the company employs 18 people in Kaliningrad and Helsinki. A beta-version of their first game is expected to be released in 2022. Recently, the company raised $ 1.5 million in pre-seed investment from prominent foreign investors including Play Ventures, Initial Catital, as well as the Unity game engine founder, billionaire David Helgason.

Prior to Order of Meta, Sergei was the CEO and co-founder of Panzerdog company. The company’s only product, Tacticool, is a mobile third-person shooter. The game pits two teams of 5 players each against one another in five-minute online session. The total revenue of the project since the launch of Tacticool has exceeded 30 million $US, which is a highest revenue for games made in Kaliningrad. In 2019, Mail.ru, an internet company, bought a controlling stake from the founders of the company.

Sergey’s sporting interest and also what just happens to be his big goal is to shake people up and get the message about the game industry, its prospects, and its place in the world across. After all, «the future is when you bet on innovation and progress», and «games are the new black».
