Lev Kharlamov

He worked as a presenter on Russian Radio and as a lecturer at the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School named after E. Evstigneev. Co-founder of the Zoopark Theater of simultaneous performance. Co-writer of the projects DRAMA_talk: Between Text and Theater and Pro (Chteniye). Lecturer at the Volga Media School. At the Center for Stage Excellence, he is co-writer and presenter of the project «Naiznanku» and director of the plays «Myaso Snegiria» («Bullfinch Meat») and «…bezhat» («…run»). Director of performances as part of the «Artist’s Theatre» at the Arsenal; director of inclusive performances at the Arsenal, Center for Stage Excellence and the House of Architect; director of interactive performances «Code for Nizhny» at the TSEH Space and «Toy Story» at the Fair. His project «DRAMA_talk: Mezhdu Tekstom I Teatrom» («DRAMA_talk: Between Text and Theater») explores contemporary drama. The first reading was held at Cafe Bezuhov in October 2011. It went like this: the directors presented their vision of the text to the audience, followed by a discussion. At first the readings took place in one room; after 2018, a new space was sought for each reading. Readings were held at the Gorky Literary Museum, the Mokrousov Cafe, the Sheraton Hotel, the parking lot of the half-finished Corner Place business center building, and the Nizhny Novgorod Ostrog.
