Mark Buloshnikov

Chairman of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Union of Composers of Russia, member of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia. As a performer, he has performed a number of national and world premieres with foreign and Russian composers. Laureate of the scholarship of the Government of the Russian Federation for young cultural and art workers. His works are performed in Russia and abroad by such groups as the Studio for New Music, the Moscow Contemporary Music Ensemble, The Gallery of Academic Music Ensemble, Ensemble Nostri Temporis, Carte Blanche Ensemble, the XX Century Ensamble. Mark composes theater and contemporary music with equal success. In his works, the composer is honest both with his listener and with himself, positioning himself as a composer outside of any particular genre. Inspiration can come to the composer from anywhere: a single sound or tone, a musical scale, a poetic text, a complete musical composition, personal observations, or the words of another artist.
