Dmitry Mitrofanov

Founder of Pixeye Games

Dmitry Mitrofanov, aka Pixeye, is responsible for the design, code, and management of a Pixeye Games studio. Dmitri likes to program and cook. His team is a small group of developers from Kaliningrad: Alexander Yazynin (responsible for visuals and graphics), Alexey Okhezin, aka Allexeee (responsible for code and design), and Artem Akmulin (responsible for the game’s music).

In 2021, Pixeye Games released Until we Die, a strategy game about the end of mankind, where the survivors had to take refuge in the bowels of the Moscow subway. It becomes the team’s breakthrough product and wins professional awards in the Indie Cup competition in the categories Best Art, Rising Star, and Streamers’ Choice. A little later, it was also recognized as the best indie game of Devgamm 2021.

The game was released on Steam on June 3, 2021, and the offline version was presented in Kaliningrad at the Playport festival and at the exhibition in a pop-up showroom Inclus, during which everyone could experience the creation of local developers.
