Honoured Artist of Russia. Honorary citizen of Nizhny Novgorod and the Nizhny Novgorod region, multiple laureate of the Nizhny Novgorod Prize. She has received numerous awards, including the Russian Order of Honor, the Manager Of The Year Award, the «Motherland, Courage, Honour, Glory» medal, The Russian Peace Foundation Medal, the Public Recognition Award, the «Vivat, Maestro» International Public Award, and various departmental and regional awards. In 2022, Olga Nikolaevna was awarded the highest award of the Nizhny Novgorod region — the Order «For Civil Valor and Honor» II degree. Under the leadership of Olga Nikolayevna, the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic Society and its Symphony Orchestra was the first Russian concert organization outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg to be awarded the honorary title of «academic». In 1998, the Philharmonic became a laureate, and in 2000 — the winner of the competition «Window to Russia». In 2001 it was recognized as the best Philharmonic of the Year. In 2004, the Philharmonic was named after Mstislav Rostropovich with the consent of the maestro himself. In 2010, the Nizhny Novgorod Philharmonic was awarded the honorary status of «National Treasure of Russia». Olga Tomina is constantly engaged in educational and social activities, taking part in various events, meetings, juries of competitions, councils and conferences.
