Ulyana Kunney Sergucheva

Ulyana began her creative journey in 1995 by winning the regional competition of young composers, where she performed her own songs. In 2016, she gave her first solo concert. So far, Kunnei has released 4 albums. A total of more than 100 songs, written by Ulyana, are performed by various Yakut pop music artists and are loved by several generations of Yakut listeners.

Ulyana’s solo songs often become regional hits. Her music videos are broadcast on Big Asia and 2×2 TV channels and two of her music videos premiered on Ello, a YouTube channel with a subscriber count of more than one million.

Kunnei went to Kazakhstan twice at the invitation to the national events, where she performed on the same stage with top Kazakh artists. She also gave a solo concert with a live ensemble in Georgia, performed with a big concert program in South Korea with Aysen Ammosov, a khomus player.

From 2014 to 2018, Ulyana was the art director of the Yakutsk State Variety Theater.

As a composer, Uliana wrote music for two musical performances for the Variety Theater. She also composes music for poems by prominent poets of Yakutia.

On March 8 of 2020, the Opera and Ballet Theatre hosted a grandiose concert by Ulyana Kunney Sergucheva, dedicated to the 25th anniversary of her creative activity. The concert is a joint project of Kunney and Zavod Dance Studio.

Ulyana owns multiple prizes and awards at the regional, Russian and international levels.

In addition to her core activity, she is a founder of Nature Republic, organic cosmetics store.
