Director of «Russia — My History» museum
Museums are fascinating. Especially if it is a «Russia — My History» museum in Yakutsk. It is a unique place where you can study the history of Russia and Yakutia up to the present day. And not just to study, but to do it in an innovative multimedia space. Rurik and Romanov dynasties, national history from 1917 to 1945 to present day — all of this can be explored. But not in the usual museum showcases, but on touch screens, lightboxes, projectors and tablets. The museum uses such visual solutions as animations, video infographics, 3D modeling. The museum complex is not at all like museums in a traditional sense of the word. It resembles foreign scientific museums and welcomes visitors of all ages. Historians, artists, cinematographers, designers, computer graphics specialists helped create this park. They did everything to move Russian history from black-and-white textbooks to a bright, fascinating, objective narrative, so that every visitor feels involved in more than a thousand years of the history of their homeland.
