Yana Ugarova

Publisher and editor-in-chief of the Jurfix magazine. Renowned public figure in Yakutia, organizer of multiple socially significant events, author and performer of songs and romances, honored worker of culture of Yakutia, member of the Union of Journalists of Russia. Jurfix is the first full-color family reading magazine in Yakutia. It is also known for its social and cultural projects: over the past years, 14 charitable events «Rescue Circle» were held under the motto «Stars of stage, politics and sport — for a healthy childhood». Funds, received during the events were allocated to the treatment of children with disabilities, financial support of orphanages and large families. Jurfix co-organized the Yakutia Culture Days in Canada in 2011 and 2012. It was one of the founders of the regional Public Awards «Yakutian of the Year» (2011, 2012, 2013), «Yakutian of the Year. Yakutsk «(2018, 2019), the First City Festival for the Elderly «Golden Times» (2019).
