Elena is the curator of the exhibition projects of the Yuri Gagarin Center for Culture and Contemporary Art, founder and curator of «Archetype» creative group. The area of her professional interests include project activities in the field of art and museum affairs, the study and popularization of the Yakut art of the XXI century, the creation of an archive of contemporary art in Yakutia, development of volunteering. She has been involved in the study and development of modern artistic practices of the republic since 2008. She is the first prize-winner of «A Changing Museum in a Changing World» All-Russian Museum Contest from Yakutia. She is the creator and the first curator of the International Yakut Biennale of Contemporary Art. She took part in the development and organization of festivals and popular science projects aimed at the development of the creative economy of the republic. They include the Arctic Modern Art Biennale (2016), the «Compass» Creative Cluster (2017). She also played female lead in «My Personal Dragon», a popular Sci-fi film based on documentaries showing the excavation of the dinosaur fossils at the archeological site of Suntarsky District (2019−2020). In the context of creative activity, as part of the «Archetype» creative group, she is engaged in artistic research projects conceptualizing and actualizing the traditional culture of the peoples inhabiting Yakutia in the areas of performative practices, video and audio storytelling, and land art.
